On Earth Day, Villanti Printers is excited to announce the installation of one of the largest rooftop solar arrays in Vermont. This array will offset over 250 tonnes of CO2 - that’s the equivalent of planting over 1,000 trees!

Villanti’s commitment to environmental responsibility is part of our company’s foundation. One of our core values is to treat the planet with respect and going solar is an impactful and important step.

Other steps we’ve taken throughout the years to reduce our carbon footprint:

-We were the first FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified printer in Vermont.

-We’re one of a handful of Green-E certified printers in the country.

-We continually strive to recycle and reduce the amount of waste produced by the printing processes.

-Our inks free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Villanti partnered with local solar provider SunCommon to ensure the rooftop array met our energy needs. Like Villanti, SunCommon is also a mission-driven, locally owned company who is committed to helping to fight climate change, making the decision to partner with them an easy one for Villanti.

Villanti utilizes state of the art offset and digital printing presses to produce a complete offering of print, packaging and mailing services to customers both regionally and nationally. The addition of this solar array will help to power our plant and speaks to our heritage of eco-friendly work ethics that Villanti embraces. We're proud to partner with likeminded clients to continue to produce creative, unique projects and also be a steward of the planet.
